THE  UNBEATABLE  WOMEN

Women,today are not just mothers who cook food or who are just meant for household work.  They rule the world today. There is nothing that a women cannot do or achieve. And to reach this far from just a mere helpless lady to a doctor,an engineer,a ruler,business leader ,a pilot and many endless jobs, it was not easy . Many struggles and fights have been fought to get the respect and oppurtunities women deserve. And even today women are fighting for equal rights.

 The sad part to know is that, according to the World Economic Forum, the gender gap won't close until 2186. But the good news is women as have always proved themselves they shall do this till required and shall prove themselves.

We must know that the original aim  of international women’s day is – to achieve full gender equality for women across  the world . A gender pay gap persists across the globe and women are still not present in equal numbers in business or politics. Figures show that globally, women’s education, health and violence towards women is still worse than that of men.

On IWD, women across the world come together to force the world to recognise these inequalities – while also celebrating the achievements of women who have overcome these barriers. We all must respect such women who have the courage to fight against the unjust . This is the day to celebrate the achievements of every women, a housewife or a working women. Both are equally great and we salute them. Women have made possible  such things that maybe men couldn’t dream of. So where are they less than men ? nowhere. 

       Women  are the most versatile forms of life on earth. They do such great jobs , jobs which are endless. Women give birth , instill values in their children,feed them, take care of their families,these days even earn for them. Those who disrespect women must remember that  they too were given birth by a women,the great leaders ,soldiers,saints all came from a women

         Some great words of guru nanak dev ji ,depict women”s value as follows :

                     ਭੰਡਹੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਭੰਡਹੁ ਚਲੈ ਰਾਹੁ ॥

                                       ਭੰਡੁ ਮੁਆ ਭੰਡੁ ਭਾਲੀਐ ਭੰਡਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਬੰਧਾਨੁ ॥

                                       ਸੋ ਕਿਉ ਮੰਦਾ ਆਖੀਐ ਜਿਤੁ ਜੰਮਹਿ ਰਾਜਾਨ ॥

                                       ਭੰਡਹੁ ਹੀ ਭੰਡੁ ਊਪਜੈ ਭੰਡੈ ਬਾਝੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥

                                       ਨਾਨਕ ਭੰਡੈ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਏਕੋ ਸਚਾ ਸੋਇ ॥

Here , Guru ji says that: From woman, man is born; within woman, man is conceived;  to              woman he is engaged and married.

                                       Woman becomes his friend; through woman, the future generations come.

                                       When his woman dies, he seeks another woman; to woman he is bound.

                                        So why call her bad? From her, kings are born.

                                        From woman, woman is born; without woman, there would be no one at all

                                       O Nanak, only the True Lord is without a woman.

Women must be respected and treated equally as men

. Today on this day of international women’s day, we must 

pledge that we shall respect everywoman and not only one 

day but must celebrate everyday as women’s day.

 Lastly ,I salute to all the women of india and of the world for

 the sacrifices they make and for the contributions they make 

for making this world a better place to live. 

“Without women the world is incomplete !respect them as

 disrespecting women is same as disrespecting the word 

of God.”
